Ashtanga is a deeply transformational practice and with time one realizes that what happens on the mat does not stay on the mat. Ashtanga Mysore style is named after the city of Mysore, India where the KPJAYI is found. It is a self-practice style of yoga where one follows his own breath and moves at his own pace through a series of predetermined asanas and supported through a one to one guidance of a teacher.  Ashtanga is a deeply transformational practice and with time one realizes that what happens on the mat does not stay on the mat. But in fact it is a reflection of what happens off the mat and vice versa. The practice is a means to become aware of past negative mental and physical patterns (samskaras) that do not serve us and helps us imprint new ones. Ashtanga Yoga Nicosia promises a safe and balanced environment for its practitioners to learn this one of a kind system with the help of its knowledgeable teacher.
